I really don’t have much interest in the Marlins Manatees, but after all the devotion given to it in the blogosphere this offseason, I was mildly excited to catch my first glimpse of the blubber covered “dancers”. My girlfriend got me sweet tickets to the game directly above first base, but of course, the Manatees did their dance down the third base line, for only one section to vomit to. I couldn’t see much of them except for on the Jumbotron, but shockingly, they were fatter than I expected.

So, overall, I think the Manatees were okay. Since there is truly nothing to watch on the field for the home team fans, I believe the Manatees will see lots of success.
