Good Weekend for Miami Sports
Heat win Saturday, ‘Canes on Sunday, pinch me, I must be f*cking dreaming! If you told me the Heat coule win a game with Wade only scoring 35 points, I wouldn’t believe you. If you told me the ‘Canes could win another conference game, I’d punch you in the face.
Rejoice for now, Miami fans, but the road is only getting tougher. The Heat have three games in the next four nights against Boston, Orlando, and New Jersey, while the ‘Canes have ridiculous tough challenges ahead against the ACC.
Good luck boys.
In even more great news, football recruiting for the ‘Canes is looking sick. Here is some information Brody compiled from a guy who knows his stuff on the Canes Insider:
J. Harper did not visit FSU. I expect him to be a Cane. The only other school with a shot is Illinois. I’d say 75/25 Canes. If we snag him, big ups to Coach Hurtt - he reeled in this big fish. (Recruiter of the year???)
Brandon Moore will decommitt from Michigan and come to Miami. After Rodriguez took over at Michigan, Moore realized what would be in store for him and will now come to Miami. Great Pick up IMO.
Alonso Lawrence is about 40/60 between Miami and Alabama.
Tommy Streeter will NOT be a Cane. He will go to either South Carolina or South Florida.
Jeremy Lewis WILL be a Cane. Tennessee made a small push, but in the end he will stick with his committment.
Corey Liguet really wants to come to Miami. His mom is the only problem. Coach Hurtt is recruiting him and is basically doing nothing but working over his Mom right now. If she gives him her blessing, CL will be lining up right along side of Forston.
Brandon Harris is a Cane LOCK.
TJ Bryant is about 70/30 UM and Alabama. Still too close to actually say.
Nick Perry will still be visiting next weekend, however coaches do not expect him to come to Miami. It’s really between Michigan and Michigan State.
Martavious Odoms did not visit this weekend. He will be visiting next weekend.
Looking gooooooooood!
