Dwyaaaaaaaane Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaade
Admitedly, I was unable to watch last night’s Heat game against Utah, as I am currently in South Carolina and the game wasn’t shown here. However, I followed it on Gamecast and was so anxious at the thought of D. Wade getting the chance to hit a game winner. Then the final score comes up, 104-102, no time left on the clock, and I went nuts. Until I just saw a replay of the shot on Sports Center just now, I never could’ve imagined how difficult of a shot it was. From 20 feet away, Wade pump fakes but fails to draw the foul, then puts up an off-balanced jumper and gets the bounce. D. Wade beat Utah just like he did three years ago.
Maybe this the spark we needed to get going. Miami fans, realize this, we are only four games behind the 8th seed in the playoffs and only six games behind the third seed! This season is far from over. D. Wade has been putting up 35 points per game consistently in the past few games. He’s money. We just need everyone else to wake up.
Oh, and how sweet were the throw backs? I would give anything for the Heat to play the rest of the season in the old school unis.
